New Zealand Ministry of Defence, Awards of Excellence in Industry: Prime Contractor of the Year

The trophy cabinet for the Sentinel 1250 Littoral Manoeuvre Craft (LMC) is fast filling up.

Sentinel Boats was awarded the highest honour of “Prime Contractor of the Year” at last night’s 2023 New Zealand Ministry of Defense, Awards of Excellence to Industry.

The award recognises the outstanding performance of the three highly specialised Sentinel LMCs, which were custom built for the Royal New Zealand Navy and have proven their worth in a variety of operational settings.

We are absolutely thrilled that our vessels have been so readily accepted and loved by the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN), which has furthered our strong partnership.

The 1250 LMC stands as a testament to the power and impact of exceptional design, advanced boat building techniques and close collaboration and consultation with the end user. This combined effort has resulted in a product now acknowledged as unparalleled on a global scale.
