Ukrainian Boats on Course for Delivery
Charting a course for delivery, the Sentinel 830R RHIBs are set for Ukraine.
After being wrapped and loaded up onto semi-trailers, the first consignment of boats is on its way. The boats are part of the Australian Government’s military assistance package to Ukraine. Being shipped across the globe, the 830Rs will be handed over in a neighbouring country and then moved into Ukraine – ready to support the brave personnel defending their nation.
With the power of twin 250hp outboards and signature handling from superior design and the stability of HDPE, the 830Rs are designed to outperform and built to outlast any equivalent craft.
The boats are expected to be used across a range of mission profiles, from complex riverine waterways to open-sea boarding operations.
At Sentinel, each boat receives a unique workshop name during construction, chosen by one of our employees. This consignment includes Digger, honouring the ANZAC infantry soldiers, and Frith, an old-English name meaning peace, protection, freedom, and safety.
We hope that the Ukrainians using these boats find comfort and support from their meanings.
